Owner/Tattooer
Lodi native, Josh Palmer, was no stranger around town and was the proud owner of Lodi’s most premier tattoo shop. Offering modern and up-to-date sterilization methods, thousands of ready-to-go tattoo designs, a massive gallery of tattoo flash, and artists capable of turning any idea into a reality - Old Vine Tattoo was a sure choice for the highest quality of tattooing in the area.
Firmly rooted in the traditions of tattooing, Josh had over 20 years of experience in many prestigious shops around the country and the globe. Through this experience and exploration he’d grown as an artist while forging solid friendships – which for you, meant Old Vine hosted some of the best guest artists from near and far.
He was a firm believer that no tattoo is more important or cooler than another - he understood the significance of a tattoo is completely subjective to the person wearing it. Josh regularly delivered beautiful work in nearly every style of tattooing, including traditional American tattoos, Japanese bodysuits, black and grey, lettering, custom pieces, cover-ups, repairs, portraits, and so much more. Anyone fortunate enough to be wearing his art and to have spent that precious time working with him is beyond proud. He will always be missed, but never forgotten, Josh Palmer Forever.
Where “good enough” ain’t good enough.
